The MiniMAX Custom-Machined Lansing/Beezar case!
New endplate design - now laser-etched!

*** PLEASE NOTE: All MiniMAX case orders, including other items that may be ordered at the same time, are shipped via Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation. ***
Based on the Lansing "DT1 MicroPak" case, the MiniMAX case has been custom machined specifically for the MiniMAX headphone amplifier. Rakish cooling slots are provided for all output buffer heat sinks, the power supply heat sink, and identical slots exist on the bottom of the case as well. combined with the strategically-located slots on the side of the case, the result is the most optimized cooling possible for your MiniMAX.
Included in the custom-machined case are two endplates with perfectly sized holes for all connections - including tip jacks for your convenience in re-biasing tubes when changed - and are complete with manufacturer applied silkscreening. The tip jacks correspond to two small holes on the top of the case that can be used in conjunction with Beezar's Trimmer Adjustment Tool to adjust the tube bias.
Of course, included in the case machining are the tube perfectly sized tube holes and a center post screw hole on the bottom to locate the board into a secure position and provide support for the rigors of plugging and unplugging tubes. The entire case is black anodized - after machining for the purest finish.
No other DIY headphone amplifier design offers such a complete package - and especially one where Deep-Class A cooling and holes for the vacuum tubes are needed. Competing designs cost as much as $45 for endplates alone, often for a much smaller project and even then, a $20 (or more) case body is still required. Compared to that standard, the MiniMAX custom-machined Lansing/Beezar case is an unparalleled value!
Included with the case are eight 4-40 philips screws and four square rubber stick-on feet. Be sure to check the rest of the Beezar catalog for a ready-made kit for the center standoff.
