This little digital multimeter is about as simple and inexpensive as it gets. Nevertheless, I've never used anything else in building a MAX. These are purchased directly from my local Harbor Freight. By all means, purchase your own if you have a store nearby. There are some who don't, though. For those customers, this may prove useful even at the slightly higher price I have to charge.
